TB Programme

The TB Prevention Project in Kapoeta South County aims to address the high burden of tuberculosis through a multifaceted approach encompassing patient contact tracing, re-engagement of the Lost-to-Follow Up, community education, and prophylactic treatment for high-risk individuals. Given the alarming rise in TB cases and the significant proportion of treatment defaulters, this project is critically needed to curb the spread of TB and improve health outcomes. By implementing a comprehensive strategy that integrates TB services with primary healthcare and other health services, the project will enhance the overall efficiency and effectiveness of TB control efforts. The Integrated Service Delivery (ISD) model ensures a patient-centered approach, promoting better health outcomes through coordinated and holistic care.

Mobile Clinics

Our team implemented two mobile clinics in April and August. We treated more than 300 patients. We provided essential healthcare services to remote and underserved areas. These mobile clinics enabled our team to offer treatments, vaccinations, and general health check-ups to hundreds of individuals who otherwise would have had limited access to medical care.

Maternal Services

We trained women in Kapoeta North County on menstrual and general hygiene (Health Promotion). We distributed soaps. These services also included educational sessions on maternal health, nutrition, and infant care. Our team empowered women with the knowledge to ensure healthier pregnancies and deliveries.

Our Vision

To bring hope and healing to the most vulnerable communities in South Sudan and East Africa, transforming lives holistically by providing healthcare services and humanitarian aid, with a focus on promoting human dignity.

Our Mission

Medical Mission aims to transform the unreached communities in sub-Saharan East Africa through provision of subsidised medical services, mobile surgery and through training and education. We strive to impact these communities with the true message of hope and love, centred around the teachings of Jesus Christ. We envision partnering with local communities and their leaders, networking together with: government services; churches; medical teams from East Africa alongside those from developed countries on short term medical mission. Together we will work to address the critical healthcare needs of the most marginalised populations. Our actions are guided by our commitment to serve others and Jesus’ prayer in Matthew 6:9-10 (“Our Father in heaven, hallowed be your name. Your kingdom come, your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven”) .
