About Us

Medical Mission (MM) is a Christian humanitarian non-governmental organization established in 2020, with official registration in 2021 under the Republic of South Sudan Relief and Rehabilitation Commission (SSRRC). Our organization is dedicated to bringing hope and healing to some of the most vulnerable communities in South Sudan and East Africa, particularly in the Greater Kapoeta region, where access to healthcare is extremely limited. Founded by Lobai Thomas Lowi, a South Sudanese medical professional and his friends. MM was born out of a deep desire to address the urgent healthcare challenges faced by marginalized populations in rural areas. In particular, the Greater Kapoeta region suffers from a lack of functioning hospitals, insufficient healthcare workers, and limited access to essential medical services. Many families, especially those from the Toposa communities, are left without proper diagnosis or treatment, enduring long-term health issues due to the lack of accessible medical care.

At MM, we believe in the power of collaboration and solidarity, working alongside local communities, government bodies, churches, and other like-minded organizations to deliver sustainable healthcare solutions.
