NYAKICA MEDICAL CENTRE
Growing in care.
Grounded in faith.
Our first outpatient satellite clinic—and the first step towards Kapoeta Surgical Mission Hospital.

An important milestone
Earlier this year, Nyakica Medical Centre reached an important milestone with the successful renovation of its laboratory, installation of a new ceiling, and the securing of the facility’s perimeter. These improvements reflect our commitment to providing safe, accessible, and quality healthcare to the communities we serve.
From a small pharmacy to a community clinic
Nyakica Medical Centre began as a small pharmacy, faithfully serving the healthcare needs of the local community. As demand for medical services continued to grow, the facility expanded into our first outpatient satellite clinic, offering consultations, treatment, and essential healthcare services to patients who would otherwise have to travel long distances for care.
A safer, more welcoming place of care
The recent renovations have transformed the clinic into a more functional and welcoming healthcare facility. The upgraded laboratory strengthens our ability to provide timely and accurate diagnostic services, while the new ceiling has created a cleaner and more comfortable environment for both patients and staff. Securing the clinic’s perimeter has also enhanced the safety of the facility, helping protect patients, staff, and medical equipment.
Our laboratory is now operational
Our renovated laboratory is now operational and serving patients. Equipped with medical supplies and diagnostic equipment, it enables us to provide laboratory services alongside outpatient consultations and treatment. We thank God for His provision and for everyone whose generosity and support have helped make this milestone possible.

Our prayer for the journey ahead
As we celebrate this milestone, we continue to pray for the growth of Nyakica Medical Centre—that it will expand its services, reach more people in need, and become a place where lives are transformed through compassionate healthcare and the love of Christ. We also pray that God will provide the resources, personnel, and partnerships needed to sustain and grow this ministry in the years ahead.
“Unless the Lord builds the house, the builders labor in vain. Unless the Lord watches over the city, the guards stand watch in vain.”
— Psalm 127:1 (NIV)
We thank God for His faithfulness throughout this journey and remain grateful to everyone whose prayers, generosity, and encouragement have made this progress possible. We trust that He who has begun this good work will continue to guide and provide as Nyakica Medical Centre grows to serve even more people in the future.
